As Envista’s founding President and CEO, Amir Aghdaei drives the company’s overall vision, drawing on more than a decade of leadership experience at Danaher. 

Amir originally joined Danaher in October 2008 as Multi-Brand GM and VP of Fluke. He was named President of Tektronix in 2009, Group Executive in 2011, President of the Danaher Communications Platform and Danaher Russia in 2014, President of Dental Technologies in 2015, and President of Danaher’s Dental Platform in 2018. 

Prior to joining Danaher, Amir served as VP of Credence, and as GM and VP of the Measurement Systems Divisions of Agilent Technologies.

Amir holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Technology and Science University of Iran, an MS in Applied Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science from Georgia State University, and an MBA from the University of Delaware.

Patrik Eriksson

As SVP & President of Nobel Biocare, Patrik Eriksson leads the Envista operating company dedicated to the innovation and creation of premium implant products, with deep industry knowledge and a passion for innovation. 

Patrik joined Danaher in 2012 as VP of Special Projects, KaVo Kerr. He served as President of Ormco from 2014 to 2017 and was named President of KaVo Kerr in 2018. Patrik was appointed Nobel Biocare Systems president in 2020. 

Prior to Danaher, Patrik was President and CEO at Carestream Dental LLC for six years. Throughout his career he has held several leadership positions, including VP International at Kodak Dental Systems. 

Passionate about continuous improvement and learning and education, Patrik serves on the Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Patrik received an MscBA from Stockholm School of Economics. He lives in Orange County, California, with his wife and three children.

Jean-Claude "JC" Kyrillos

SVP, President KaVo & DTX

As SVP & President of KaVo & DTX, Jean Claude “JC” Kyrillos leads Envista’s equipment business and workflow treatment solution software, which supplies dental professionals with dependable, easy-to-use treatment units, instruments, imaging, and integrated software solutions.

JC joined Envista in 2020 as SVP and President of KaVo Kerr. He joined Envista with 28 years of experience in the medical device, diagnostics, and digital health industries, including his most recent leadership roles with Becton Dickinson/CareFusion Corporation and Qualcomm Life. At Qualcomm, he was the SVP and GM of the healthcare division powering intelligent healthcare from hospital to home, including medical device information systems, connected pharmaceuticals, and predictive analytics. At BD/CareFusion, JC led the Alaris infusion pump division. Prior to that, JC served in various President and Senior Vice President roles at ResMed, Inc. 

JC and his wife have four children and live in southern California.  He is an avid surfer and snowboarder. He serves as the Chairman of the San Diego Blood Bank, a non-profit organization supplying blood to San Diego, Orange, and LA counties. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Colgate University.

Jim McGillivary is SVP & President, Consumables & Value Implants. Jim joined the Dental business in June of 2017.  Previously, Jim worked at Tektronix for 6 years as the Vice President and General Manager of the RF instruments and Component solution businesses. Prior to joining Tektronix, Jim worked for Agilent Technologies for 13 years holding positions as Vice President and General Manager in their EDA software business as well as other H/W divisions.  Jim spent 14 years at Hewlett Packard in various R&D and marketing positions. 

Jim holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

As SVP & President of Ormco, Jeff Kappler leads the team that creates confidence worldwide through innovative, high-quality orthodontic solutions.

Jeff originally joined Danaher in 2007 as a Factory Manager and Operations Leader. He then served as Global Product Manager and Business Unit Manager for Veeder-Root, then a Danaher operating company, for three years. Jeff joined KaVo Kerr in 2015 and held multiple global leadership roles across Danaher’s Dental Platform. He was named President of Ormco in September 2018.  

Prior to Danaher, Jeff was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. He holds a BA in International Studies from Dickinson College and an MBA from the University of Virginia. He lives in Memphis, Tennessee, with his wife and four children.

As SVP & President of Digital Orthodontics, Eric Conley leads Envista’s Spark Clear Aligner and Insignia businesses, which help doctors provide cutting edge, tailored solutions to patients. In addition to Digital Orthodontics, Eric also leads the Envista Business System Office.

Eric joined Envista in 2020 as SVP & President of Digital Orthodontics. He joined Envista with more than 20 years of experience leading venture-backed start ups in the enterprise software space as well as established businesses at Danaher Corporation and Fortive Corporation. At Danaher and Fortive, Eric led businesses in the medical device and test & measurement spaces.  In January 2018, he became President of Fluke Industrial Group, the leading test & measurement brand in the industrial space. Prior to Danaher, Eric founded and served as CEO of Mixed Signals, Inc. and held senior leadership roles at another venture-backed start up prior. Eric started his career in corporate finance and private equity at The Irvine Company and Penske Capital Partners, respectively.

Eric and his wife have two children and split time between Seattle and southern California. He is an avid skier and enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with his family. He serves on the executive committees and boards of Seattle Children’s Museum and American Red Cross. He holds a BA in Economics from Davidson College.

As SVP Special Markets, Filippo Impieri leads Envista’s commercial organization dedicated to dental service organizations (DSOs) as well as universities, government, CHC, and other strategic customer segments.

Filippo joined Danaher in 2004 as the result of the company's first acquisition in the dental industry. He has held several commercial roles including VP Marketing and VP/GM Commercial, leading KaVo Kerr sales and service imaging organizations in North America. Before joining Danaher, Filippo worked in marketing and product management in the Gendex division of Dentsply Italy.

Filippo holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Los Angeles, California with his husband and two dogs.

Julie Xing

As leader of Envista's China business, Julie brings 19 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnosis, and other areas within the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Envista, Julie held senior leadership positions at Eli Lilly & Company, both at the global headquarters and Eli Lilly China.

Prior to Eli Lilly, Julie served as General Manager and Vice President of Asia Pacific/Japan of Panomics/Affymetrix Inc. (now Thermo Fisher Scientific). Before this position, Julie was the China President and General Manager of Illumina Inc., the largest next generation gene sequencer company.

Julie is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Mars Incorporated, one of the largest American manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, other food products, and a provider of animal care services.

Julie is a scientist by training. She holds a doctorate in Biology from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and she did post-doctoral training at both Harvard University and Stanford University Medical School.  She is a well-known professional Chinese writer and has published over 100 articles covering subjects ranging from coaching and self-growth to women in leadership and career development.

Howard Yu

As Envista’s CFO, Howard Yu leads the corporate financial organization for the company.

Howard joined Danaher in 2001 as Corporate Finance Manager at Beckman Coulter. Over the course of 13 years he held several leadership positions, including VP of Finance. He was named CFO of Ormco in 2014 and CFO of Nobel Biocare in 2017.

Prior to joining Danaher, Howard worked in finance at Hewlett-Packard and Deloitte and Touche. 

Howard received a BA in Business Economics from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is a licensed CPA in the state of California and lives in Orange County, California.

Curt Bludworth leads Envista’s Human Resources (HR) organization as SVP & Chief HR Officer. He is passionate about a business-focused functional team and actively encourages a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Curt joined Danaher in 2011 as VP HR for Tektronix, then a Danaher Operating Company. He built a work environment conducive to change and supportive of individuals coming to work as their authentic selves. He joined Danaher’s Dental Platform in January 2015 as VP HR. 

Prior to Danaher, Curt held various leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Gap Inc., and Morrison Restaurants and Morrison Management Specialists. 

Curt holds a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Houston, Texas.

Mischa Reis

Mischa Reis

As SVP Strategy & Corporate Development, Mischa Reis leads Envista’s strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including portfolio management, market analysis, deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and deal execution.

Mischa joined Danaher in 2012 as VP Business Development and Strategy for the Dental Platform, with responsibility for driving its strategy and inorganic growth activities. During his tenure, he completed more than 10 deals spanning four continents, ranging from small minority investments in innovative startups to the $2B+ acquisition of Nobel Biocare.

Prior to Danaher, Mischa worked at Fortune 500 company Avery Dennison for 10 years in a variety of business development, marketing, and strategy roles, most recently as VP and Head of Corporate Strategy. He started his career as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in Frankfurt, Germany.

Mischa holds a master’s degree equivalent in Business Administration & Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. He lives in Los Angeles, California, with his wife and three kids and is a passionate soccer player (and even more passionate soccer fan of his hometown team, Bayern Munich).

SVP & General Counsel

As General Counsel for Envista, Mark Nance leads the corporate legal team.

Mark joined Envista in 2019 from INSYS Therapeutics, Inc., where he was most recently Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. He has nearly 20 years of General Counsel expertise. 

Prior to joining Envista, Mark held roles as General Counsel for Mylan, N.V., a global pharmaceutical leader, and led the legal teams at G.E. Healthcare Medical Diagnostics and G.E. Healthcare Life Sciences. He also worked in the Office of Policy Planning at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Mark served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. 

Mark holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri and a JD from Cornell Law School.

As SVP of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, Claudia Ortiz leads Envista’s regulatory affairs, quality, and compliance functions. 

Claudia originally joined Danaher in 2003 as Quality Engineer for KaVo Kerr. She held various progressive roles within Quality and Regulatory Affairs and was appointed VP of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for Danaher in 2012 . 

Claudia holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. She lives in Aliso Viejo, California, with her husband and two children and enjoys being involved in their sports activities.

Scott Huennekens

 

 

Scott Huennekens is Envista's Chairman of the Board. He is the former Chairman, President, and CEO of Verb Surgical, Inc., an independent surgical technology company formed in 2015 by Google and Johnson & Johnson, and currently serves on the board of NuVasive, a medical device company. 

Prior to his tenure at Verb Surgical, Inc., Scott was President and CEO of Volcano Corporation for 13 years and President and CEO of Digirad Corporation. He also held various positions at Baxter Healthcare, Birtcher Medical Systems, and Deloitte and Touche. Scott has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Scott received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. 

Wendy Carruthers

Wendy Carruthers is Senior VP, HR at Boston Scientific, a medical device manufacturer, and oversees the company’s global human resources activities. She joined Boston Scientific in 2004 and was the VP of Global Talent Management and VP, HR for the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region prior to her current position.

Before joining Boston Scientific, Wendy was VP, HR for Europe for Cable & Wireless, global telecommunications company. She also held various positions at Diageo and Tesco.

Wendy holds a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Salford and is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts.

Kieran T. Gallahue

Kieran T. Gallahue is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CareFusion Corporation, a global medical technology company, from 2011 until its acquisition by Becton, Dickinson and Company in March 2015. From January 2008 through January 2011, Mr. Gallahue served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of ResMed, Inc., a medical device firm serving the sleep-disordered breathing and respiratory markets. Mr. Gallahue is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of each of Edwards Lifesciences Corp., Intersect ENT and Arena Pharmaceuticals.

Prior to his time at ResMed, Inc., Mr. Gallahue held various marketing, sales and financial positions within Nanogen, Inc., Instrumentation Laboratory, the Procter & Gamble Company, and the General Electric Company.  Mr. Gallahue also served on the Executive Committee of the Advanced Medical Technology Association, a trade association representing 80% of medical technology firms in the United States.

Mr. Gallahue holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Vivek Jain

Vivek Jain has served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of ICU Medical, Inc., a global medical technology company specializing in infusion therapy, since February 2014.  Prior to this role, Mr. Jain served at CareFusion Corporation, a global medical technology company, as President of Procedural Solutions from 2011 to February 2014 and as President, Medical Technologies and Services from September 2009 until 2011. Before joining CareFusion Corporation, Mr. Jain was EVP of Strategy and Corporate Development of Cardinal Health, Inc., a health care services company, from June 2007 until August 2009.

Vivek served as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc., an investment banking firm, from 1994 to 2006. Vivek received a BA in economics from the University of Chicago.

Daniel Raskas

Daniel Raskas is SVP, Corporate Development of Danaher and co-leads mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He oversees investment activity, including identification, valuation, due diligence, contract strategy, and negotiations.

Daniel joined Danaher in 2004, originally serving as VP, Corporate Development, and was promoted to his current role in 2010. Throughout his tenure, he has led business development across the company and overseen a number of major acquisitions, including Beckman Coulter and Pall.

Before joining Danaher, Daniel was a partner at Thayer Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on buyout and growth equity investments in the middle market. He also served as an associate at Arnold & Porter LLP for several years, where he specialized in transactional work including M&A and public offerings.

Daniel received a BA in Government from Harvard College, an MBA from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Christine Tsingos

Christine Tsingos is the former EVP and CFO at Bio-Rad, a company focused on life science research and clinical diagnostic systems. She serves on the boards of Varex Imaging, an X-ray component manufacturer, and Nanometrics, which produces metrology and inspection systems for a variety of industries.

Prior to her 17 years at Bio-Rad, Christine held various positions at Attest Systems, Tavolo, Autodesk, and The Cooper Companies. 

Christine received a BA in International Studies from American University and an MBA in International Business from George Washington University.

Gayle Sheppard

Gayle Sheppard is Corporate Vice President, Azure Data, Microsoft Corporation, where she leads the vision & strategy for Microsoft’s data and analytics products and services. 

Prior to joining Microsoft, Gayle held various leadership positions at Intel Company, Saffron Technology, Inc., Peoplesoft, Inc., Ketera Technologies, Inc. and J.D. Edwards, Inc. She has founded, created, or contributed to start-up and Fortune 100 companies focused on Artificial Intelligence platforms, solutions in business and consumer markets, and digitization of business in a wide variety of industries. 

Gayle received a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. She currently resides in Washington state.
